About G.

My name is Gerasimos “G” Stavlas. I am a Miami/Orlando based filmmaker specializing in production, assistant directing, videography, editing, and gaffing. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Motion Pictures: Production, with a minor in Psychology, from the University of Miami.

Born in Baltimore, Maryland, and raised in the restaurant industry, I developed an early appreciation for discipline, teamwork, and the impact of strong leadership. My passion for storytelling took shape in 2019 while working as a stage manager, where I discovered my passion for coordinating and creating narrative works. By 2022, I adapted these skills to meet the demands of the fast-paced, high-pressure environment of film production.

During this time, I have:

  • Served as President of the University of Miami Film Society (DKA)

  • Founded and executive produced the UMTV show Reel Talk

  • Won Best Intro Undergraduate Film at the Canes Film Festival (2025)

  • Won Best Undergradute Producer at Canes Film Festival (2026)

  • Contributed to 20+ films and commercial productions

I am committed to bringing stories to life with clarity and precision. Too often, creative vision is lost in the complexity of production; my goal is to foster a structured, collaborative environment where creativity can thrive. My passion lies in finding the path that turns vision into reality.
